Merry Xmas Mr. Bush

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO MR.GEORGE W.BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE USA AND LEADER OF THE WORLD. GOD BLE$$ AMERICA.

After several years of silence, Terrorpilot comes back with a new flash movie. I have wondered a lot whether publishing this or not, because it’s easy being tempted falling into retorical issues. War is wrong. I learned it when i was just a child. When a war is over, the winner is a loser too. More than 2000 american soldiers have died in Iraq. Isn’t that much more than enough? One next to the other, like Christmas trees, they form a giant forest, recognizable only by their name, rank, (usually) very young age, and personal history.
This is my contribution to Christmas, the hypocritical time of the year when everybody tries to pretend everything is all right, especially when it isn’t, by far.

How pathetic - man, you ain’t worth shit as a troll too.
Get the fuck out of here. We wait for REAL right wingers with brains to talk and grow with, according to a new, shining concept called democracy (i’ll send you personally a couple links if you decide for a single email - or i can cc to all your false nicks). You’ve wasting our time and giving right wingers an even worse reputation with your lame interventions. If your aim was to make us look bad you just got the opposite result. Cheers.
    Now go.

Cool - you guys even spy on the people that write you - check on their IP number - just like the commies did in the Soviet Union.
    Be proud!
Ha, ha, ha - what hypocrites you all are. You spy on the writers to your blog!!!!
And while you can use lots of different names (Nemesis/calogero/swampthing) and be the same person none of us can spy on you and check your IP number.
Isn´t that what the terrorist/dictators/commie/faschists want - they control the spying, the illegal activities while poo-pooing others.
And I don´t speak so Italian - so what? Then write your cartoons in Italilan, keep your comments in Italian and worry about Italy. You don´t because in Italy you are joke.

    hey, whatsyername:
you probably need reading help. Let me point you out some small issues about your interpretations:
    1) my name is NEMESIS. N_E-M-E-S-I-S. Which is much different from TERRORPILOT. Again. T-E-R-R-O-R-P-I-L-O-T. We are two separate persons, and i’m definitely nicer. ;)
I don’t necessarily talk in defense of my friend. I talk in defense of common sense, which you obviously lack together with a lack of politeness: i never insulted you, you do. And that’s a point for me.
    2) your name again is HELMUT. No, wait, Sean. No wait, TROLL. Man, spelling oneself’s name is always important for a good social life.
    Get prepared to it.
    3) Yes, there’s red stars here. Yeah, we might be leftists (i’d love to call myself communist, but i can’t afford it - still have to pay the bills). Congratulations for noticing after your 10000th visit. (Hint: the rest of the site is in italian - sorry if i do spoil some surprise!)
    4) I’ve told TONS of times in the previous posts i LOVE US and i much dislike its GOVERNMENT, you respond whining “sob, sob, you hate my country, we are defensors of freedom”. So, if you want this conversation to continue, please roll back my old posts and assume my statements about US are true. I don’t hate US, i hate stupidity. Don’t take advantage of the latter, please.
    5) I AM full of hate? Man, look at you. You’re doing a huge fuss with fake ip’s for a flash animation. Come on, go outside and take a walk in the park; there’s a better world out there, despite Cheney and Rumsfeld (or until they bomb the both of us for unknown reasons).
    6) You’re naive and sweet. “US holds no companies”. Man, you’re so cute. WHOSE is Halliburton? WHOSE are the major oil companies?
Once again and for the LAST TIME: I LOVE AMERICAN PEOPLE, AND AMERICAN PEOPLE MAKE NO PROFIT OUT OF WAR: WAR MAKES INNOCENT, POOR AMERICAN PEOPLE DIE TO FEED BUSH’S SUVS AND BANK ACCOUNT.
I RESPECT AMERICAN PEOPLE, I JUST HOPE THEY SEE THEY’VE ELECTED VERY VERY BAD PEOPLE.

IF this time this is not clear enough, i’ll try the last time with a bigger font size…

dear helmut/sean , how many stereotypes do you have about Italy in your brain??
if sterotypes make a person intelligent you are Einstein.

PS in this blog, most of criticisms are on italian goverment, we are conscious that our country is ruled by bad politicians, but you are american and you cannot understand italian… you speak english only :bigballs:

    swampthing scrive:

dear helmut / sean; don’t take it with nemesis, i did the animation and i’m still pretty convinced i did it for the right reasons. As you can see, it was meant to be provocative, and it is.
I don’t think it’s tasteless nor otrageous for the memory of those dead in Iraq (popular but weak accusation). Lies are the worst way to remember who’s dead in iraq: more than 2000 US Soldiers, but also 30.000 iraqi civilians, let’s not forget about this. Please, roll over the names of the soldiers: reading their bio makes sure a different impression than GeorgeW tv propaganda, right? That’s what i wanted to do: humanize cold statistics.
When i did this, i was sure someone (the lesser dowed, probably) would have told: “mind your own nation”. And if you’d read this blog you’d know how much i am critical towards my government. Government that took part - against the majority of italian people’s wil, once again - to this fake iraqi war.

But america forcing fake democracy is not an “inner, family” problem. it’s a real problem for all those nations believing in REAL freedom.

    The name of your blog:
    -”TerrorPilot”
-”Blog” with the “O” the symbol of the Soviet Union Communist Hammer and Sickle.

So you claim to be a pilot of terror and a communist.
Terrorists and Communists: Both things that are/were against democracy and freedom; however both want total govenrment and dictatorial control of the masses.
Ahhh….such a claim to fame to ….such an idiot.
And so much talk by Nemesis of hypocracy.

And your statements about the U.S.:
-”…fascist money-making machine…” (Tip to Nemesis: the US government has no companies, runs no businesses. And when wasn´t US a successful economy? Fascist? Do you know what it means—-I think you are confusing it with your former ruler, Mussolini.)
-”…which i see in my eyes brutally raped and cowardly betrayed for mere cash.”
Could you give us all some factual proof and examples of this; with links to reputable sources showing it to be true?

If ignorance is bliss, then you are in heaven.

    Helmut Unger scrive:

Nemesis - Sorry, that you are so full of hate.
You are not the solution, you are the part of the problem.
Your animation is tasteless, not clever and supportive of all forces against the western world. (Where´s the cartoon about how many innocent people the terrorists killed in the world?
Where was your animation about Saddam killing thousands and thousands of innocents when he was dictator?
Where was your animation about the Talibahn in Afghanistan killing thousands and thousands of innocents when they ran the country?
Where is your funny animation about how the Iranians want to use their nuclear bombs to kill? BTW they now have a missile with the range to drop a bomb on Italy.
Where is your funny animation about the Muslim religion treats women like dogs or second class citizens to men? In Saudi Arabia a woman is not allowed to drive a car, go outside without being accompanied by a male family member.)
By ignoring those things, while attacking the US and the western world, you give tacit approval of them.

P.S. A higher percentage of Iraqis voted in the last election in Iraq than voted in the last election in Italy. Ah, yes, no democracy in Italy that is for sure. Italy - A country living in the long ago past presently ruled on the left, right and middle by a government of bungling, corrupt bureaucrats.
And you waste your time criticizing other countries?
Whew - Italy is one step away from going 3rd World status. Isn´t the mafia, corruption, drug running, illegal immigrant smuggling the largest employers in Italy? But isn´t that what losers like you do? Attack others so they can ignore or blame others on their own problems.

Damn, your comment was SO heart-ripping it nearly made me shed a tear. Not.

    >> Disrepectful to those who serve their country.

“Serve” is a nice verb, i’m glad you use it.
It’s fun to see the same americans you see saying they are “serving” their nation gather large amounts of weapons in their houses to protect themselves from the same government they pledge servance to.
It’s also fun to see how serving a nation must be done in a non-critical way. “The nation” itself is not a sky-high, ideal identity: it’s a bunch of people, good and evil, friend or foe. I wouldn’t go fight a war i wouldn’t believe to because a so-called “nation” calls me. Unpatriotic? Nope, just with both brain lobes working undrugged from media and cheap-ass tv rethoric.

    > Why do non-Americans, i.e. Europeans, feel that they have to spend their time criticizing America, but yet can find no fault in their country, Europe, Iran, Syria or other countries?

Might this be to you of mild consolation, i’m not proud at all of my actual government; most of my words express harsher criticism about Italian right wingers because they can ruin my life harder than any US Gov can.
Iran and Syria? Come ON! They are an even weaker threat than the fake chicken flu. Please…

    > Where is your “cute” flash animation showing the terrorists and people against democracy who killed all these soldiers (and Iraqi citizens) that have brought democracy to Iraq?

It’s in preparation i guess: along with the same animation of a hostile, overarmed, hyperdoped army (all of us, sadly) invading a nation collapsed by a 10-year embargo with the faintest of the excuses. Democracy? I see no democracy whatsoever there, buddy. You can be sure that in 4 or 5 years Iraq will be in the hands of fundamentalists, with secret services smiling on the back of the picture.
Democracy, sheesh. Democracy is taught with a book, never EVER with the barrel of a gun.

    > Where is your “cute” flash animation showing all the European govts and people who were fighting so hard (with their lack of support and denigration of the American effort) to deny the Iraqi people freedom from a brutal dictator?

Why there are much brutaller dictators in Africa or in Asia and they’re fine and well. Please, it’s just BLOOD FOR OIL like 10 years ago. I guess you heard the song, you can sing along if you want to.

    > Make a “cute” flash animation showing the millions and millions and millions of Iraqis that gladly voted peacefully in last weeks first-ever parlimentary elections. As many said - the right to finally vote was the best thing that ever happened to them.

Sheesh. Sure. “The best thing they ever had”. Sure.

    > Make a “cute” flash animation showing all the bribes that Europeans and members of the UN took from Saddam Hussein to ward off the removal of him from office.

So ridiculous i’m not answering. Really.
You were laughing when you wrote this, right? Otherwise, you’re in SERIOUS propaganda overdose, man.

    > Thank the United States - they understand that people want freedom.

They understand it SO much they ANTICIPATE their need for freedom by invading them.
Once again as i wrote below - i’m not criticizing american people and culture which i love - but just the bunch of assholes ruling them.

One of my wishes for Santa:
“Dear Santa, Nemesis here. One of my wishes for this year is to give us back the funky, culturally fresh, exciting, creative nation that gave us rock’n'roll, internet (well… most), funny tv shows and dresses that made me dream starry-eyed when i was a kid: please, take back the grey, anti-choice, bigot, gun-doped nation who became a fascist money-making machine. I want to have that dream back, like billions and billions of people in the world. I want to have back the American Dream, which i see in my eyes brutally raped and cowardly betrayed for mere cash.
Dear Santa, give me back the United States i used to love.”

Ok, I defenitely agree with you. In fact giving a name, an age and a RIP to all the trees, Swampthing show us that this is not a statistic. Statistics are anonimous, statistics are just numbers and percenteges. Mr. Geroge W makes statistics. Politicians (and who voted for them) saying that this war and the people died is the right price to be safer… they make statistics.

The cartoon is not savage or inappropriate as some would say. It expresses the naked truth that we don’t see or want to know or admit. What is savage and unspeakably grotesque is how the powers that be merrily waste the lives of our loyal and brave people as peices on their chess boards. The only reason that Americans can carry on with their happy little frivolous lives down the path of broad destruction is because they are uneducated and untouched by the truth. Worse, most of them are this way by choice. This particular cartoon is not only an eye opener but also a heart opener. So who cares about some big number? As long as we don’t really have to know what that means, as long as we can say “aw man that’s horrible…” and go on with our daily routine, as long as it’s no one we know, who cares, right? But when you realize that these numbers have names, ages and RIP dates you begin to realize that something is really wrong. The reason someone would be upset about a cartoon like this is because they do not like being forced to see the truth. Americans want everything sugar coated and suitable for a lulubye. Americans want to have a (falsely) clear conscience while they are exploiting others to overconsume, destroy and dominate. Ignorence is bliss. Nobility is hell.
(refer to the song by System of a down “goin to the party”)
Time to wake up and make a choice, people.

sorry, I shouldn’t have been so harsh. But I stand by what I was trying to say: the dead belong to their families, it’s not fair to use a stranger’s life/death to try and make a point, because you can’t do them them justice. Nobody deserves to be reduced to a statistic. That’s why capitalism is a dangerous religion in the first place. Merry christmas.

I don’t hate america. Period. I’ve been to NY in 2002 and there i had one of the best times of my life. People in NY were nice, and curious, and funny, and the girls were definitely sexy. Very far from the angry US Marine stereotype. I don’t hate at all america. I hate arrogance, which is a totally different issue. I have no prejudice about americans: if i could get on the plane now and get back to NY, i’ll do with no second thought.
Problem is you can’t pretend not to see what Rummy and Cheney and Bushy are doing to the world: they’re hooligans in a suit and tie willing to take over the world for mere greed. And thank god a good half of american people hates them.

My more or less serious proposal was: since America with NO doubt rules the world right now, it’d be fine if ALL the people in the world could vote for the US presidency. That’d be fair to me. :)

Excuse us, Zachary: Satire isn’t meant to be nice and cute and puppy-like. Satire is made to be grotesque and hurting, by its nature itself, and i see NOTHING BAD in making people feeling angry and “awaken” on such topic since the REAL anger shouldn’t come from (supposedly) bad animation but from REAL PEOPLE DYING. I am sure if i was a relative or a friend of someone dying in a place (where in the best case he’s been brought with a bunch full of lies about who the bad and the good guys are) i would feel surely feel much more SICK first about LIES YOU’VE BEEN TOLD than for tiny harmless pixel christmas trees. The movie criticism was meant to be gentle; a sweet movie on a very serious topic: much worse comparisons could have been done if Swampy was the sicko you depict so harshly. But who is the sicko? The angry designer behind his shelf with nothing but his mouse and his hands to criticize a regime, as opposed to the regime itself and his militar arsenal, killing out a total of about 40.000 people for sheer will of domination (sorry, the weapons of mass destruction thing got so worn out i wouldn’t listen even if you told)?
    Where’s the REAL bad taste?

    zachary scrive:

Though I don’t disagree with the stated intent of your flash movie (war is bad, people need to hold themselves accountable, etc.) I think it’s pretty insensitive and unclassy. You might respect the fact that the parents of a dead 19-year-old kid, or the wife of some dude who was reported “missing in action”, wouldn’t appreciate your associating their dead family member with humour and bad animation, regardless of the point you’re trying to make.
If you think the ends justify the means, and that disrespecting other people’s feelings is okay as long as you can make your point, I think you lack the morality necessary to being a spokesperson for social justice.
Not to mention that two of the biggest flaws of the regime you’re criticising, are its lack of diplomacy, and its insensitivity to the wants/needs/lives of others.
So, I see your movie as pretty hypocritical, and bandwagonesque. Yeah, you got linked by some cool sites, and I’m sure your site got lots of traffic, but the values you’re espousing are tainted with intolerance.
